Boarding
We manage a "full service" boarding facility with our goal being to provide worry free horse
ownership. Every need of your horse is recorded according to your instructions upon arrival of
your horse and is checked and updated periodically. Though we are a small equine facility,
Katom Cree Farm offers:
* Matted 10 x 10' and 12 x 12' airy box stalls (sizes are approximate) with comfortably sized
adjacent turnout paddocks (private or semi-private turnout).
* We feed 2 x day. Our hay is quality Timothy mix or Alfalfa mix. Grain is in the form of pellets, but
we can supply sweet feed if requested. We are more than happy to add client provided
supplements to meals. We use SmarkPak in our barn and can add your horse's supplements to
our order and bill you accordingly. If your horse needs to be fed more than 2 x a day or needs a
special feed, we can do it for a small fee.
* Feed and grain buckets cleaned out daily.
* Lighted outdoor ring with sand/pea gravel footing that has excellent drainage.
* Enclosed wash area
* Multiple areas to hand graze your horse.
* Access to miles of beautiful trails
* Farrier services, equine dentistry, and veterinary care (specifically vaccinations, and
emergency vet services) can be provided via Katom Cree Farm. Clients will be billed directly by
these service providers. All horses must have current vaccines and Coggin's Test while in our
care. Access to blanket cleaning and repair services is also available.
*For the well being of all of the horses here, we have a deworming program and require all
boarding horses to be done according to our schedule. You can supply the deworming
medication and do it yourself or we can supply it and bill you accordingly.
* Maintenance of our barn, fences and footing is a high priority. We ask all potential boarders to
inform us if your horse has any stable vices, or special needs.
* Winter blanketing/summer sheeting services: one blanket/sheet per day is included in
performance and training board - additional charge of $l.00 per extra change.

demands of the working/show horse): - Box
stall with daily turnout, feed 2 x day with a
performance diet, cleaning of stall and
paddock, extra shavings and other perks.
Training Board: Box stall with daily turnout,
feed 2 x day with a performance , cleaning of
stall and paddock, and extra shavings. Training
3 x week with complete grooming/bath each
day and one lesson per week.
Every effort is made by Katom Cree Farm to
keep our costs reasonable. Changes to pricing
are preceded with notification to our boarders
and opportunities to discuss/justify future
increases. We encourage our clients to assist
in every effort to conserve energy and minimize
waste without jeopardizing the quality of our
service. i.e. Turn off lights when not in use.
